Danika has been hairdressing for 14 years within Albany, WA. She is a trained curl specialist by Lorraine Massey who wrote the curly girl hand book. she uses only Australian made natural products. She is a solo hairstylist and makeup artist working within the Albany area, completing her services from beginning to end to ensure your experience is perfect and results are achieved to the highest possible standard.
Special Events and Weddings
She is a qualified make-up artist and hairstyling specialist, With many years of experience in wedding and ball hair upstyling. She prides herself on being punctual and professional to cater for large bridal parties or small intimate gatherings. She is able to travel to you for hair and make-up services on your special day anywhere in the great southern, with main service areas being Albany, Denmark and Bremer bay. All enquires for special events check bridal agreement and submit booking form
Danika is passionate about embracing natural hair and texture, hair should be a crown not to a daily challenge. Blessed with naturally curly hair herself, she understands the daily struggle and lack of support and knowledge available to embrace natural waves and curls. She is constantly updating her education and training in curly hair cutting and styling techniques to bring out the best your hair can be. She is knowledgeable about the 'Curly Girl Method' and suitable products available. Curly cuts are cut dry and cut curl by curl to enhance natural shape and hair condition. Education on products and styling curls included in appointment. She only uses Curl Girl Approved products, Austalian made brands Everescents and Clevercurl.

Hair Colouring and Cutting
Danika offers all modern colouring and cutting techniques. She is trained to cut curl by curl for her naturally curly clientrs. She uses Pure Ammonia free hair colour which is Australian made and ppd free colour for all her colouring services and Olaplex as requested or required. Her current lightener is the amazing, Pureplex which maintains the integrity of the hair and includes a 'plex' system built in.
She prides her self on embracing and enhancing natural hair colours. She loves for clients to embrace their beautiful natural grey and white hair, utilizing their natural variation to create unique blended personal colours that compliment their skin tone, age and maintenance goals

Danika focuses on sourcing Australian made, natural product ranges. She is passionate about learning indepth about products, their ingredients and their uses to make informed decisions for her clients and their aftercare. Currently stocking Everescents organic hair care , Clever curl and Rosewood organic skincare and Scout makeup
ranges for their performance and their brand ethos.
